What is a dealer?
Dealers are our contact between the customer and the company.
They work with customers making sure orders are filled in a timely fashion,
and they work with the distributors when placing orders to make sure
the customers shipping costs are minimized. U.S. Soil, Inc will also work
closely with the dealers as they know the areas they service. Since
every area is different we count on our dealers to be the first to let
us know our customer needs.
Are you the type of person to be a dealer?
It all depends on what you are looking for. Are you a social person,
that likes organizing events? Are you someone who is creative, ambitious
and willing to work diligently to grow the business in your local area,
but not wanting to branch outside of your community? Do you want to make
noticeable money, without sacrificing your farm or current business, then
a dealership is meant for you.
Are you an individual that doesn’t own their own business yet?
You should know you don’t have to be a preexisting business to be a dealer.
In fact, the majority of our agriculture dealers are farmers,
who believe in our product and feel the community could benefit from it.
We encourage these individuals to setup meetings in their area, and
we will send a sales representative to those meetings. Many
people do not like to sell, even if they believe in the product,
we make that process as easy as possible for you. What is more important
to us, is that each dealer have a personal connection with the customers
in their community. The best dealers are the ones, that know their
customers, their customer’s family and who visits the
customer on a regular basis.
Are you a business in the industry, looking for a change? We also sell
to coops and homegarden centers. The dealer pricing is in
essense wholesale pricing for your business. While we allow our
dealers to mix in Planters II with other products, you should be aware
that very little actually needs to be mixed with Planters II.
It already contains all the trace minerals needed. Additionally,
when someone uses Planters II, they find they need less NPK as
healthy land promotes NPK. Many businesses that push multiple products,
have switched over completely to Planters II, and their businesses have
doubled for it.
What is required?
Planters II is an outstanding product with outstanding results, and as such
everyone who carries the Planters product line needs to be exceptional.
The requirements for being a good dealer are as follows:
-
Strong Social Values:
We believe a customer should always be treated with the utmost respect.
Integrity and honesty are a must if you are going to use the Planters name.
We expect you to be honest with the customer and us at all times and to
be true to your word.
-
Social Networking:
A good dealer knows the people in his local community, and has the
capability to organize meetings. You do not have to be a
salesman. In fact, many of our best dealers are not salesman nor
do they try to sell the product. They do however go out and meet the
farmers in their communities, put on informational meetings and work with
us to make sure someone is there to speak. The key difference
between a good dealer and a great dealer, is that a great dealer will always
follow up with a customer after a meeting. If a dealer waits for a customer to
contact them, then they have already lost that customer. Small town values
are important, and dealers need to call upon their customers.
-
Creative:
Creative individuals are needed to make a business grow. Dealers
are always trying to think of new ways to present the product to the
individuals in their area. We will work with you in pushing the product
and advertising, but you have to take that first step.
-
Independence:
While U.S. Soil will help your business in many different ways,
we also realize our dealers are independent contractors / businesses.
If you value your independence over rigid structure, a U.S. Soil dealership is
ideal for you.
-
Ambition:
Ambition is important, as you are the one that makes your business grow.
If you have ambition, we can provide the tools that will help you excel.
What are the benefits:
There are many benefits to selling Planters II, a few of them
are as follows:
-
You can be proud to sell it:
The Planters II product really works, and that has been tested and
proven time and time again. Not only does it work, it helps the
environment, it helps your community, and
it is safe for you and your children.
-
You don't have to mix it:
Many products try to accomplish what Planters naturally has, a combination
of essential trace minerals that work together.
It is a product that can stand by itself.
-
Advertising and selling help:
We help our dealers advertise and sell the Planters II product.
We do not want our dealers to be fulltime salesmen.
We will provide support as needed for your area.
-
You are working with a family business:
U.S. Soil, Inc has been a family run business for 50 years. We know the difficulties
of running a small business, and we value integrity and trust among our

most of our dealers have their own farms, while still being a U.S. Soil dealer.

time to get involved, before your location is claimed by another dealer.
