Your Soil Is A Living Organism

All life above the soil depends on the life within the soil. If one were to destroy the life in the top 6 inches of soil, chances are all life on this planet would die. Soil is not just dirt, it's a living complex thing.

Soil is first formed by environmental conditions, base material and time. After the parent soil is formed, microbes eat, convert, digest, self sacrifice, fix nitrogen from the air, produce hormones, plant nutrients and antibiotics, decompose cellulose, anti-fungals and anti-tumor agents form intimate relationships with plants and keep the whole thing running.

It has been estimated that a quarter teaspoon of live soil contains over a billion (1,000,000,000) organisms and only about half of all microbes have even been classified!

The soil operates on a check and balance system, the "good" microbes keeping the "bad" microbes in control. The whole key is balance. Standard fertilizer does not promote this balance and in many cases can make things worse.

Planters II promotes healthy soil

Microbes need a source of sugars, carbon, nitrogen, water, correct temperature, air and minerals to grow and thrive. The sugars, carbon and nitrogen are mainly used to form amino acids. Phosphorus to form enzymes, sulfur is important in forming thio-aminoacids, calcium for pH control and cell walls, as well as molybdenum and cobalt for fixation of nitrogen from the air. All of the substances must be in a form that the microbes can use, or the conversion of elements to useable forms can take years, causing a slowdown in the soil life. Planters II works now to supply nutrients to plants and microbes alike.

Minerals are removed from the soil in the production of the "fruit". Every time you take an ear of corn, a pod of peas or pick a flower, minerals are removed. Regular fertilizer supplies little or none of these needed minerals. Compost is good but since little minerals remain in the stalks of plants, compost will not supply the necessary minerals. Manure is only as good as the feed that the animal ate, if the feed is poor in minerals then the manure will be deficient.

If you wish to have great crops, very nutritious vegetables and vibrant flowers you need to use Planters II. Remember "Health Starts From The Ground Up" and the health of your family is the most important thing in the world.
