Fruits, Nuts, Vegetables and Vineyards

When it comes to edible crops, Planters II helps in two major areas. It helps with the yield of crops, often by increasing the weights, and it helps with the sugar / brix levels of the crops. The sweeter it is, the more benefits you get; including a better quality product. Furthermore, expect to see increased nutrient content for all your crops, as it is the minerals that define the nutrients.

Application Rate

As cash crops vary greatly, so does the application rate for Planters II, and it is best to contact us to determine the ideal rate. However, here are a few guidelines.

For most vegetable crops, start with 250 lbs / acre then add 50lbs for poor soil conditions or nutrient rich crops.

For most fruit trees and bushes, crops start with 300 lbs / acre and adjust by 25lbs for the soil conditions.

For grapes and vineyards, you may even apply the common application rate of 400 lbs / acre . While Planters II will not burn, there isn't a drastic difference beyond the 400lbs / acre, so rarely would you adjust.
